Membership of NAFAS Selangor Berhad Citizens' Cooperative (KOWARNA) is only open to employees of the national farmers' association (NAFAS) and its subsidiary companies.
KOWARNA's area of operation covers the entire country of Malaysia and currently KOWARNA's membership is divided into three main states, namely NAFAS Headquarters in Kota Damansara, Selangor, Malaysian NPK Fertilizer Sdn Bhd in Kedah Desert and NAFAS Plastics Sdn Bhd in Ipoh, Perak. The total number of KOWARNA members Until May 2023 is a total of 430 members.
KOWARNA offers emergency cash loans up to RM 5000.00 with regular repayments installments up to 30 months.
KOWARNA provides vehicle insurance and road tax renewal services and members can make payment in installments for 3 months through salary deduction.
Every KOWARNA member is eligible to receive an annual dividend on the share capital held in KOWARNA.
KOWARNA offers accommodation at NAFASCUBE@MARDI with a container and culvert concept at a special price to KOWARNA members.
KOWARNA members are eligible to participate in various programs organized by the Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) for free.
KOWARNA members can attend courses provided by the Institut Koperasi Malaysia (IKMA) for a fee as low as RM 30.00.
